Meet Tanya Williams, Owner and Studio Director

Tanya started dancing at age 2 and danced competitively starting at age 5. Most of her training was with Tina Marie’s School of Dance located in Michigan.

Tanya’s love of dance followed her to college where she graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in dance. While attending Oakland University she was a member of the Oakland Dance Team and the Oakland Dance Theater.

While attending Oakland she utilized opportunities to choreograph pieces and teach fellow dance lovers of all ages. During that time she realized what she really wanted to do, Teach! Tanya then became the Varsity Coach of a high school dance team and started teaching at studios to recreational and competitive students from ages 2 and up.

In 2002 Tanya performed during the Detroit Lions halftime show, and also performed in 2014 at the Intelligent Transport Systems 21st World Congress (ITS) conference at Cobo Hall in Detroit, with Gail and Rice Talent Agency.

Tanya continued to further her education by graduating Sigma Alpha Pi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Kendall College. She has experience working in special education and daycare/preschool settings.
